SARAH CYNTHIA WOULD NOT TAKE THE GARBAGE OUT

An example of hyperbole I found in this poem was " Homework! Oh, homework!
You're giving me fits.
" What this hyperbole means is that the homework is giving him fits because it's too much. I think the poet used hyperbole in this way because he is trying to explain how much he hates homework.
